Welcome to the Parish of Bleasby community website. 

The Visit Bleasby section of our site provides an introduction to local attractions such as Bleasby War MemorialsSt Mary's ChurchGlebe Field and Hazelford Ferry & the River Trent. You can click here for a brief history about Bleasby and click here for ideas about local outdoor recreation. Further information about our fantastic pub, The Waggon & Horses and Manor Farm Tea Shoppe, along with a guide to travel and accommodation can also be found on the Visit Bleasby pages. 

You can keep up to date with what's going on via the News and Events pages, along with our local newsletter, Bleasby News and our Bleasby Village Facebook page. If you wish to receive email updates about new events and news as its released, please sign up by following the link on the right hand side of each website page.

 

The section on village amenities include introductions to Bleasby Primary School, Playgroup, the Village Hall, St Mary's Church and Jubilee Ponds along with information about the station, local defibrillator and public transport. A further page provides useful links to many of the local services and facilities.

The Parish Council section of the website provides all the latest information about Bleasby's Parish PlanParish MeetingsStatutory Documents and other relevant information. 

There are many local interest groups, each with a page dedicated to their activities in the parish. These include Bleasby Bikers, the local History SocietyCamemberts Running Club, the Book GroupWhist Club and Lunch Club and a regular Friendship Coffee Morning.  Other fun and activity can be found at with the Wellbeing Circle, the Swing Into Shape group, Kundalina Yoga and Wednesday Group, not to mention a thriving WI and an active Countryside and Footpaths Group

Our Memory Lane pages provide a community library of photos taken at events and happenings around the village; recent events include Bleasby Apple FestBleasby Bike FestVE Day Celebrations and Bleasby In Bloom., to name a few! There is also a section dedicated to Bleasby Past.  Please send in your photos or ideas for new albums as they arise ([email protected]).

There are opportunities to get involved with helping the community through volunteering. Please visit the Volunteering Groups pages to find out more about helping out. Existing groups include Bleasby Grasshoppers, a friendly group of volunteers who care for parish green spaces and run local wildlife projects, local  Neighbourhood Watch and a Flood Action Group

Bleasby Parish Council own this website domain and maintain the Parish Council pages. The rest of the site pages are administered by local volunteers and the site is hosted by Hugo Fox, a specialist website provider to Parish Councils.
